Billie Jo Bell

Billie Jo Bell, 71, of Hewitt, Texas passed away on October 23, 2022. Visitation for family and friends will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at OakCrest Funeral Home on Thursday, October 27, 2022.
Mrs. Bell was born on July 5, 1951 to Malcom D. and Helen (Rader) Hand in Mart, Texas. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and a friend to many people, always willing to assist any way she could. Billie loved gardening, reading, horses, and attending sporting events with her grandchildren.
She was employed for many years at the central office of Marwitz Brother Management, Inc. On April 30th of 1993, she received the signature Award for Excellence from Gary and Scott Marwitz.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Larry Wayne Bell.
Billie is survived by her loving husband, Newton Avery; son , Avery Wayne, and wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Avery Wayne Bell, Jr. and Autumn Nicole Bell; sister, Linda Horn, and Shirley Camp and husband, Phil; niece, Chelsea Dillon, and nephew, Jim Horn, and many friends. Also her special Yorkie, Lexi.
