Billy C. Files, 60, of Granbury, died Saturday, July 10, 2004.
Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque.
Billy was born July 22, 1943 in McGregor to C.A. and Nina (Ward) Files. He served his country in the Navy from 1961 to 1964. He was lived in Waco from 1950 to 1980. He was married March 31, 1980 in Stephenville to Nita Crouch.
For 38 years, he was an electrician with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
Survivors include his wife, Nita Files of Granbury; two sons, Devin Files of Waco, and Jon Files and wife, Sharon of Hickory, NC; step-son, Brent Waugh of Ruidoso, NM, and wife, Carla; step-daughter, Lisa Pruitt of Allen, and husband, Tim; two grandsons, Zachary Files of Waco and Spencer Huffman of Hickory, NC; three granddaughters, Ashley Campos of Dallas, Whitney Files of Waco, and Rachelle Waugh of Ruidoso, NM; mother, Nina Files of Waco; brother, Jack Files and wife, Renate of Eddy; sister, Patricia Scott and husband, Stephen, of Waco; two nieces, Carla Hulsey and husband, Terry, of Springfield, Nebraska, and Tracey Jouett and husband, James, of Carrollton; and nephew, Patrick Scott of College Station.
