Billy Ross

Billy James "B.J." Ross, age 89, of Hewitt, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2010 in Hewitt.

Mr. Ross was born December 14, 1920 in Grapevine, Arkansas to Fagan and Emma Wofford Ross.

He served his country in the US Army during WW II. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and a brother.

Billy is survived by his wife of 69 years, Cornelia "Keenie" Ross of Hewitt; sons, Billy James Ross, Jr. and wife, Elizabeth of Yucca Valley, California, L. C. Ross and wife, Eve of Hewitt, and Larry Ross of China Spring; daughter, Kay Markum and husband, Ronnie of Hewitt; nine grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sister, Dana Smallwood of Slaton, Texas; and brother, Jerry Don Ross of Wilson, Texas.

The family of Mr. Ross would like to thank the staff of The Courtyards of Hewitt for their care.
