He attended Ball High School in Seguin, Texas and graduated from Paul Quinn College with a Bachelor of Science in Education. He received as Master’s of Theology Degree from Guadalupe Seminary, Seguin TX.

He was an awesome leader, husband, dad, granddad, son, brother, uncle, paw-paw and friend to many. He always said, “If I can help somebody as I pass along, then and only then, my living will not be in vain.” Floyd always had a smile on his face and a purpose in his heart.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 48 years, Aubrey D. Williams; 10 children, Cynthia (Eugene) Edwards, Katherine Y. Chase, Joyce (Bobby) Brown, Karen Giles, Floyd (Everlyn) Williams, Wanda (Archie) Lee, Eric Williams, Christopher (Tanya) Williams, Jarrell (LaTora) Williams, and Utina Dials; as well as 20 grandchildren, 13 great-grand children, as well as a host of relatives and friends.

The family would like to give special recognition to his granddaughter, Sharlyn D. Provost, who was his personal nurse, caretaker, medical advisor, and confidant until his transition to glory. Paw-paw was so appreciative for your love, support and always making him look good!

Special thanks to, Dr. Chakmakjian and staff, at Texas Oncology, for their support during this time. Your services were above and beyond the call of duty and will always be cherished by the Williams Family.
