Blas G. Deanda

Blas Gil Deanda, 93, of Waco, Texas passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 11, 2024. Blas was born in Edinburg, Texas on October 17, 1930 to Carlos and Isabel (Gil) Deanda.

Blas was well known in the Waco area. He dedicated his work years to Brock’s Janitor Service and the Mutualista Hall as Janitor Supervisor. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially his family, who he held close to his heart.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Isabel Gil Deanda; father, Carlos Deanda; sister, Maria Montemayor; and daughter, Sandra Deanda.

Blas is survived by his children, Rosa M. Cazares and husband, Ricardo, Dolores H. Deanda, Victor M. Cruz, Roberto S. Hernandez, Isabel Dominguez, Blas J. Deanda, Jr., and husband, Fred, and Yolanda Chavirra; brothers, Jose Deanda and Raul Deanda; and sister, Linda Molina.
