Bobbie Benson

Bobbie Benson, 73, of Waco passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016. A Memorial Service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Toliver Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy D. Hunter officiating.
Bobbie was born in Ballinger, Texas September 26, 1942 to Henry and Mattie (Coleman) Brown. She was a loving daughter, mother and grandmother, and a great friend to all.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Janie Brown and Carolyn Balkin; brother Freddy Brown.
She is survived by daughters, Rhonda Jeffrie and Jackqueline Benson both of Austin, Texas and Sharon Wilkerson of Newburgh, New York; brothers, Ellison Portis, of Benson, Arizona and Charles A. Portis; grandchildren, Randel Portis, Nikia Wilkerson, Cedric Benson, Dominic Benson, Deonoric Long, Joshua Jeffrie, and Kaylin Forward; great grandchildren, Nadine Benson, Tiana Portis, Brianna and Sasha; sisters, Jean Peterson and Nancy Johnson, and Henry Faye Brown; and brother, Steve Brown.
