Bobby Ray Lewis, 52, of Waco, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2006 near Crawford in a tragic accident. Memorial services will be at 2 pm Wednesday at OakCrest Funeral Home with Minister Keith Schrader officiating. Visitation will be 12:30 to 2 pm Wednesday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Bobby was born on July 26, 1954 in Taylor to Lester Ray and Vernell (Hendrick) Lewis. He married the love of his life, Beckey Herbelin on March 19, 1977 in Waco. Bobby was the head chauffer with Emerald Coaches in Waco for the past eight years, and also worked for Coke for many years. He loved skiing, driving limos and music. Bobby was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Waco.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Beckey of Waco; daughter, Kristi Lewis Clendening of Waco; granddaughter, Skyler Aleece Clendening of Waco; mother, Vernell Lewis of Temple; and aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Bobby was a loving husband, father, son and friend who was loved by many.
