Bobby Scott

Bobby Dale Scott, 61, of Waco, passed away March 21, 2014. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at OakCrest Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Holland officiating. Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Sunday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Bobby was born in Waco to Leslie and Inez Scott. He worked many years as a paint and body technician and was also a tattoo artist. Bobby liked to hunt and fish, make knives, and write poetry.

He was faithful and loyal to his family who he loved dearly, and he will be dearly missed.

He was loved by all his nieces and nephews and everyone who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Leslie Ray and Billy Don.

He is survived by his wife, Cherrell Scott; daughters, Shannon Scott, Angel Collins and husband, Danny, and Misty Eck and husband, Jimmy; sister, Elaine Butler; grandchildren, Kayla Reyes, Stephanie Powers, Austin Jones, Courtney Collins, Wesley McDonald Jr., Joshua Birch-Burleson, James Eck, and Hagen Eck; and a great granddaughter, Shadolyhn Sablan, Tucker Reyes, and Blayne Gilchrest.


Since tomorrow started without me

Like They will be your Last.
Life holds so much, Both good and
Bad, And it goes by so Fast.
Enjoy your Time, and Think of me
And I will see you soon.
In a Peaceful place with only Love
Beyond The stars and Moon.

Don’t weep my child, I could not stay
My other Angels came for me.
Just think of me when next you
Pray, I’ll be right there by you.
