Brenda was born March 21, 1965, in Waco. She has worked for the past ten years at the U.S. Postal Service in Waco. She was married to Terry Lee Millsaps on August 9, 1998, in Waco.

Everyone hopes to one day have a Brenda as a part of their lives. She was truly wonderful in a way that goes beyond the word -- wonderful in a way that goes beyond any word, because it came from a place in her heart that, more than anything, wanted to make everyone she met feel as though they were wonderful too.

The love that Brenda felt for her family, and friends, from her grandparents, all the way to her cat, Rocky, made her heart so full that it could not help but overflow into her every smile and her every word, touching everyone that she came into contact with.

This love was never greater than when directed towards those that meant the most to her: her family, especially her husband, Terry; her daughters, Brittney and Miranda; her sons, T.J and Jordan, and of course, her best friend, Allena. Everything that she did in life was out of love for them. She will always be remembered by those closest to her as the most wonderful wife, mother, daughter, and friend that one could be.

By other friends and relatives, Brenda will always be remembered as the person we most hope to be like; the one who found the good in everything; the one with the voice and beauty of an angel. Simply, wonderful.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Lee Millsaps of Lacy-Lakeview; two daughters, Brittney Leigh Blackburn and Miranda Nicole Blackburn of Lacy-Lakeview; two sons, Terry Lee Millsaps Jr. of Lacy-Lakeview and Jordan Ryan Millsaps of Axtell; mother, Cheri Gibbons and husband, Rob, of Lacy-Lakeview; father, Roy Patterson and wife, Janice, of Slocum; four brothers, Michael Hutchinson and wife, Donna of Chalk Bluff, John Hutchinson and wife, Rebecca, of Robinson, Clint Patterson and wife, Nicole, of Elkhart, and Craig Thompson and wife, M'Lisa, of Orlando, Florida; thee sisters, Leigh Anne Busch of Lacy-Lakeview, Debbie Marks and husband, Dean, of Jonesboro, Louisiana; Julie Curry, and husband, Sam, of Temple; her best friend, Allena Flores and husband, Edward II, of Waco; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
