Bruce Wayne Roosa, 82, passed away May 6, 2022, in Waco, Texas.  Graveside
services will be at 11:00 am, Thursday, May 12, at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation
will be with the family from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, May 11, at OakCrest Funeral
Home.

Bruce was born April 2, 1940, in Cornwell, New York to Harold J. and Ida E.
(Weeks) Roosa.  Bruce married Ruth A. Satterly in July 1963.  He worked for
several different companies before being hired by I.B.M. as a service technician.
Bruce was still working for I.B.M. when he and Ruth moved to Waco in 1977.
Bruce also received a certificate in metal processing from T.S.T.I. in Waco.  He
worked for I.B.M. until his retirement.  He was an avid train enthusiast and loved
going to Life Steam Train meets to see other model railroaders.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bruce is survived by his loving wife, Ruth of 59 years; and his extended family,
Alan, Diane, Cheyenne, and Cassidy Kelley. Also, Bill, Donna, and Annie Shiller.

Ruth Would like to give a special thank you to all the doctors and nurses at
Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center for the great care they gave her husband in the IC unit.
