Bryan Howard Martin, 37, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2012. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at Cogdell United Methodist Church, 1201 West State Highway 6, Waco. Officiating will be The Rev. Doug Blackford, assisted by Bryan’s dad, The Rev. Howard Martin, and brother, The Rev. Chad Martin.

Bryan was born October 7, 1974 in Springfield, Mo. He and his wife Sheryl Hardt were married on April 5, 2008 at Cogdell United Methodist Church where he was a member. Bryan was a talented musician and guitarist who was passionate about composing and performing his own music. Bryan was also a movie buff and lover of animals.

Bryan will be remembered for his outgoing, friendly personality, wonderful sense of humor and kind heart.

He is survived by his wife, Sheryl Martin of Waco; parents, Howard and Carolyn Martin of Stephenville; brother, Chad Martin and wife Cinnamon of Houston; grandparents, Travis and Joyce Young of Cleveland, Tex.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cogdell United Methodist Church or to the McLennan County Humane Society.
