Cam Tran, 75, of Waco, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Providence Health Center. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013 at OakCrest Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation with Cam’s family will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Cam was born December 6, 1937 in Saigon, Vietnam. She was known as “China Doll” to many. She came to the United States in 1974. She was married for 30 years to Khanh Quoc Tran who passed away in 2000. Cam enjoyed cooking, sewing, spending time with friends and playing cards. She was employed at the HEB Grocery Store on Wooded Acres for over 21 years as a cook.
She is survived by her son, Dung Quoc Tran; her daughter, Mylinh Richards; grandchildren, Blake Ryan Richards and Brittany Richards; and great grandchildren, Anthony Xairer Richards and Mia Rayne Richards.
