Carl Davis

Carl Chester Davis, 35, of China Spring passed away Saturday October 7, 2006, after a motorcyle accident.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday October 10, 2006 at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd. with the Rev. Marvin Donnell officiating. Burial will follow at the Eddy Cemetery.

Chester was born in Temple, Texas to Levi Hayes Davis and Ella Nadine Johnson Davis. He had graduated from Midway High School, Class of 1990.

Chester married Tobi Watkins on March 6, 1999 in Robinson Texas, he worked for Texas Lehigh Cement and was a member of Masonic Lodge # 376.

He was an avid sports fan of UT and the Dallas Cowboys. Chester was preceded in death by his sister Mary Louise Lewis, father Levi Hayes and stepfather Richard Edward Dawson.

Chester is survived by his wife Tobi of China Spring; mother Ella Dawson of Hewitt; sister Nancy Alexander and husband Tommy of Moody; brothers Alfred Hayes and wife Connie of Thornton, Alvin Davis of Eddy, Jimmy Davis and wife Kim of Crawford, Tommy Davis of Hewitt, Jack Dawson and wife Stacey of Lorena, brother-in-law Braxton Lewis of Eddy, father and mother-in-law Mike and Sharon Buehrle of Robinson, sister-in-law Kelly and husband Mike Sladovnik of Lacy Lakeview; many nieces and nephews; step-brother, Rusty Dawson; step-sisters, Sandy Kay Dawson, Sharon Chavez and Jennifer Buehrle of Waco; and his beloved dog, Hunter, whom was his baby boy.

Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society, Fuzzy Friends Rescue and the Alzheimer's Association.
