Carol Ann Hugo, 76, of Elm Mott, Texas passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019 at her residence. Graveside services will be 4:00 pm Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Gerald Cemetery, Elm Mott, Texas, with Deacon Richard Menchaca officiating. A visitation will be Sunday, May 5, from 1 to 3 pm at OakCrest Funeral Home.

Carol Ann was born on July 23, 1942 in Hamilton, Ohio to Edward and Hilda Fay (Alcorn) McCarty. She attended public schools in Hamilton, Ohio and later moved to Central Texas. She was a very active and loving lady, her passion was her dogs. She was also a very good cook, and will be remembered for her wonderful pecan pies. About 15 years ago Carol met Juan A. Maldonado, Sr. and they became excellent friends. She enjoyed being with his family, and her sisters, traveling, and helping people when there was a need.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Carol is survived by her dear and loving friend, Juan A. Maldonado, Sr., sisters; Barbara Bollman and husband George of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky and Catherine Godby of Waddy, Kentucky, and Juan’s family and many friends.
