Carol Ann Simmons
September 2, 1945 – August 15, 2008

Carol Ann Simmons, 62, of Waco passed away Friday at her daughter's home surrounded by her family. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, August 18, 2008 at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd., with Mr. Michael Pricer officiating. Burial will follow at the Robinson Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the OakCrest Funeral Home.

Carol was born in Jefferson City, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her father, William Homer Harris; sister, Deana Harris; and brother, Billy Harris.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Tina Pricer and husband, Patrick Pricer of Waco; mother, Allie Jo Harris of Waco; brothers, Charles Harris and wife, Pat of Midlothian, Jerry Harris and wife, Michelle of Cabot, Ark., Buddy Harris of Indicot, NY; sisters, Catherine Swindle and husband, Otto, Gail Young, all of Carlisle, Ark, and Nancy Meredith and husband, Ervin of Waco; grandchildren, Aden and Rory Pricer of Waco and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Carol was an overnight stocker at WalMart on Franklin Avenue for nine years. She made many friends there and her hard work and dedication showed her love for her job. She was a loving mother, caring sister, and devoted daughter. Carol touched the lives of many people and through her illness it was returned to her tenfold. She appreciated each small gesture, whether it was a hug, a smile, a kind word and most importantly the prayers. Carol was a wonderful person that will be truly missed.
