Carra Smith

Carra Mae Smith, 91, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Providence Medical Center in Waco from a stroke.

She was born March 21, 1919 in Blair, Oklahoma to J.P. and Pearl (Brown) Aishman.
She lived in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Texas during her lifetime and worked in the family bakery and as a homemaker.

Carra Mae was preceded in death by her parents: and her husband, James W. Smith, Sr.

Survivors include Carrolyn Smith Morelan of Houston, Texas, James W. Smith, Jr. of Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma, Mark Randall Smith of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Tara Morelan Jones of China Spring, Texas, Jennifer Smith of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Alex Smith of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and great-grandchildren Camden and Weston Jones of China Spring, Texas.


A Memorial Service will be held from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. October 2, 2010 at Stillwell Retirement Commuity, 5400 Laurel Lake Drive, Waco, Texas.

Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, October 4, 2010 at Ft. Smith National Cemetery in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Relatives and friends are welcome.
