Casey Alan Kirkgard, 30 of Waco passed away on Monday, January 9, 2006 in Waco. A Celebration of his life will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Acts Christian Fellowship, 5201 Steinbeck Bend Waco,TX 76708 with Pastor David Booker officiating.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Acts Christian Fellowship. A memorial video will be shown in honor of his life.
He was born on April 26, 1975 in Houston to Robert and Cathey (Scott) Kirkgard. He married the love of his life, Lyndsey Peterson on August 27, 2002 in Tucson, AZ.
Casey was a graduate in 1998 from Rice Aviation in Houston with a degree in A&P. He loved his family, church, listening to Christian music, electronics, snow skiing, hunting ( in which he was a very good marksman), cars and enjoyed operating ham radios.
Casey was a member of the Acts Christian Fellowship.
Casey is survived by his wife, Lyndsey of Waco; son, Kaesyn Alan Kirkgard of Waco; father and step-mother, Robert and Karen Kirkgard of Hempstead; mother and step-father, Cathey and Norman Clarke of South Fork, CO; brother, Clint Kirkgard of Hempstead; grandmother, Bonnie Scott of Monte Vista, CO; aunts, Margie Pearce and husband Richard of Austin, Leslie Hartnett and husband Sean of Block Island, Rhode Island, Alice Lenich of South Fork, CO., Nancy Scott of Port Townsend, Wash, June Graham of Hempstead and Kathleen Gillock and husband Jim of Wimberly; uncles, David Scott of South Fork, CO., Andrew Scott and wife Mary of Corpus Christi, and Bill Kirkgard and wife Betsey of Houston; cousins, Kirby, Kelly, Kimmy, Kristy, Matt, Stephen, Rachel, Amoreena, Cully, Jeremy, Laurel, Bill, Jessica, Michael, Dave, Keith, Beth, Holly, Michael, Terry, Bill, Kirk, and Kevin; and a host of friends.
Casey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Graham Scott and William T. and Mabel Kirkgard; great-grandparents, Bill and Alice Mohr and uncle, Frank Lenich. Casey was a loving husband, father, son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend.
