Catherine was born on September 28, 1910 to Joseph and Anna Nevins in New Bloonfield, Missouri. She was the last of her siblings: Paul, George, Mable Murphy, and Mary VanReen.
She married Duncan McRuer Cuthbertson on December 20, 1936 after attending Synodical College in Fulton, Missouri.
She is survived by her daughter Agnes Ann Gladbach and husband Bill Gladbach. There are four grandchildren: Cecilia, Will and his wife Sonjia, David and his wife Shirley, and Julia and her husband Terry.
There are five great grandchildren: Anna and Greta Gladbach, Andrew and Colleen Gladbach, and Brayden Dunaway.
She enjoyed her life keeping good health throughout the 99 years. She lived and worked in Fulton, Missouri including time with the Agriculture Adjustment Administration, Missouri School for the Deaf, Head Resident for Chi Omega Sorority at William Woods College, and was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was a member ofthe Daughters of the American Revolution.
She moved to Texas in 2000 to be closer to her daughter and family. Being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was a great joy for her during her 10 years in Texas.
