Caz Ballard Stepp, 58, of Lorena, died Saturday, March 3, 2007 in Waco after a long, hard fought battle with complications from diabetes and arthritis.
Caz was surrounded by the love of many of his family and friends in body and/or spirit. In accordance with his wishes, Caz wished to be cremated and have no service. He never wanted a fuss made over him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Caz B. and Mary Frances Stepp.
Caz leaves to celebrate his memory his "Scooter", Ricky; daughter, Melissa Whorton and husband, Ethan of Waco; sons, Scott Stepp of Waco, Caz G. and wife, Cinthia of Florida, and Kenneth Stepp of New York; sisters, Becky Deskins of Ohio, Carol Metzner and husband, Larry and Beverly Blevins and husband, Jimmy, all of Florida; his brothers, LeRoy and wife, Glenda of New York, Albert R., and Butch and wife, Madeline, all of Kansas, and many, many other family and friends.
The family wishes special thanks go to his faithful loving friends, Dan and Judy Francis, Larry and Frances Lynch, Roy Gann, Jeff Scheuffle, and his friends at Lorena Mini Storage.
Also special thanks is given to the many doctors and nurses who helped in Caz's care, especially Dr. Sharp, Dr. Pape and Dr. Plemmons.
