Charles Wayne Jackson 76, passed away Tuesday. Services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd. with Rev. Mike Toby officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Jackson was born December 9, 1929 in Post, Texas to Charles Alexander Jackson and Addie Pearl Gray Jackson. He married Joan Newport. preceded in death by his parents, mother and father-in law Vera and Dave Newport, brother James E. Jackson.

Left to cherish his memory and all he added to their lives, his wife Joan of Hewitt, daughters Nancye Davis of Las Vegas, Nev. Martha Kay Sherman of Waco, son Mark and wife Nancy Jackson of Wheaton, Ill., grandsons Kevin Williams and wife Buffy of Hewitt, Brett Jackson of Wheaton, Ill.,
granddaughters Tonya Reynolds and husband Jerry of Las Vegas, Nev., Nikki Sherman, Katie Sherman and Stevie Sherman all of Waco, Lindsay Jackson and Laine Jackson both of Wheaton , Ill., 4 great grandchildren and beloved sisters-in law, numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Steve Gregory, Austin Gregory, Brett Jackson, Kevin Williams, Mike Jackson, Phillip Jackson, Richard Jackson and Greg Reid.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of his Sunday School Class at First Baptist of Woodway.
In lieu of flowers donations can be to New Hearts at Baylor Medical in Dallas.
