Charles Ray Miller Sr. was born in Seguin, Texas on April 21, 1951, to John William Miller Jr. and Charlene Laverne Reveile. He went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, November 3, 2022.

Charles served in the U.S. Army from 1969 -1978 as a Vietnam Veteran. He was an avid fisherman, camper, hunter, a lover of westerns, the worst joke teller ever, and loved spending time with the family.

Charles married Mary J. Pierce on October 31, 1970, in Clifton, Texas.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary of Waco; his daughter, Anne Rodriguez and husband, Jamie of Watagua, Texas; son Charles Miller Jr. and wife, Julie of Killeen; daughter, Kristi Shoaff of Garland, Texas; ex-son-in-law, Stephen Shoaff of Sulphur Springs, Texas; daughter, Lisa Bartley and husband, Donald of Waco Texas; and son, Bradly Miller of Waco, Texas.

He is also survived by his brother, John Miller and wife, Norma of Sulphur Springs Texas; his sisters, Sandra McDonald and husband James of Fort Worth and Kathi Delaney and husband, Tim of Pine Hill, NJ; his grandchildren, Madeleine, Joshua Ty, Tristan, Scott, McKayla, Lexi, Justin, Marc, Sydnei, and Madison; many great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and many extended family and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents, John and Charlene; his sister, Susan Bles, and his great-grandson, Gabriel Shoaff.

Family will receive visitors on Tuesday, Nov. 15, from 6-8 PM at Oakcrest Funeral Home at 4520 Bosque Blvd, Waco, Texas 76710 and Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at Central Texas State Veteran Cemetery in Killeen, Texas at 11463 Tx-195 Killeen Texas 76542 on 1 pm Thursday, Nov 17.
