December 12, 1960 – April 2, 2014

Charles Norman Wallace, Sr., 53, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014 surrounded by his family. Services will be 9 a.m., Saturday, April 5, 2014 at St. Louis Catholic Church with Fr. Justin Nguyen officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Rosary will be 6 p.m., Friday, April 4, 2014 at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Charles Norman Wallace, Sr. was born December 12, 1960 to Charles Ray and Evelyn Hawkins Wallace in Waco, TX. He was a graduate of Waco High School. Charles then went to work for Sears and A-1 Fire & Safety where he eventually retired after 20 years. Charles loved fishing, barbecuing, spending time with friends, and watching the Dallas Cowboys.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jeff Hawkins; and grand-daughter, Julianna Wallace.

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Bravo Wallace; daughter, Rebecca Guerra Rodriguez and husband, Adrian, Sr.; sons, Jon-Michael Wallace and wife, Laura and Charles Wallace, Jr. and wife, Frances; grandchildren, Candice Sauseda, Crystal Stanfill and husband, Reno, Adrian, Julian, and Victoria Rodriguez, Jae-Lissa and Mason Wallace, Saraya and Laila Hidrigo, Mercedes Inman, Nicolas and Arianna Wallace; sister, Debra Miller; brothers, Robert Dedeluk and James Hawkins; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Tidus, Yuna, and Aria; and several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends who loved him dearly.

Pallbearers will be Adrian Rodriguez, Sr., Angel Bravo, John Bravo, JR Lopez, Arthur Duarte, and Alfredo Herrera.
