Charles Henry Watkins

Charles Henry Watkins, 68, of Waco, passed away Monday, March 6, 2006 at his residence. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Greater Bosqueville Baptist Church with the Rev. Allen Burr, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Greater Bosqueville Cemetery. Viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque.
Mr. Watkins was born December 20, 1937 in Bosqueville to Suelee and Erma Watkins, and has lived here all his life. He attended school through high school at A.J. Moore. He accepted Christ at an early age, and was a member of the Greater Bosqueville Baptist Church. He worked for SMI and later at M&M Mars where he retired in 1996. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Callie of Waco; sons, Charles Alan Watkins of Hewitt and Barry Watkins of Waco; daughters, Elaine Minor and Sheri Atterberry, both of Waco; brothers, Oscar Watkins, Isaiah Watkins, and Johnny Watkins, all of Waco; sisters, Betty Hicks of China Spring and Robbie Neal of Houston; 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 8 nieces and 8 nephews.
