Charles Wood, 66, passed away Sunday. Private family services to be held.
Charles Harold Wood was born in Waco, Texas to C.H. Wood and Francess McKelroy Wood. He married Glenda Knight March 1997 in Espanola, New Mexico. He had been a member of the Taylor Police Department and the Taylor Fire Department in the early 60s, he had served as Sgt. on the University of Texas Police Force, he also was a retired salesman for Western Auto. Charles was a member of the Shrine.
Charles is survived by his wife Glenda of Oenaville; son Sean Wood of Rowlett; stepdaughters Dana Beltran and husband Brian; step granddaughters Crystal Davis and Alexis Ozment all of Ft. Worth; sister Joyce Selucky of Temple; brother Bill Wood of Atwater, Ca; nieces Debra Martinez of Temple, Rachel Webb of Rosebud; nephews Kevin Selucky of Tucson, Philip Wood , Aaron Wood, Mark Wood all of Ruston , La, grandchildren Stormi and Jaxson Wood both of Rowett.
