Charlie Thacker
Charlie Thacker, age 69, of China Spring, went to be with the Lord March 25, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Charlie was born January 25, 1941 in Carlsbad, New Mexico . He served his country during the Viet Nam War in the United States Coast Guard. He was a tool and die man for almost his whole life. Charlie had a great sense of humor and was a friend to many. He loved his Lord and family and he will be missed by all.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Esta Spangler and two brothers, Ken and Robert.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Thacker of China Spring; father , Dwight Spangler of Irving; brothers, Mike Spangler and David Spangler , both of Irving; Stepchildren, Tianna Arnold and Thomas Sullivan, both of Waco.
