Charlotte Vogel
September 23, 1935 - December 8, 2007
Charlotte Vogel, 72 of Woodway passed away Saturday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at St. Jerome's Catholic Church, 9820 Chapel Road with Father Rakshaganathan Selvarha as celebrant. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. with the Rosary at 7 p.m. at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Charlotte was born September 23, 1935 in Green Bay, Wisconsin to Charles and Margaret (Bruso) Fritsch. She graduated from Mount Mary College, Milwaukee and received her graduate degree from UW Milwaukee in 1972 in Learning Disabilities. She taught school several years in the Milwaukee area. She was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis as a young adult. She helped establish the Green Bay MS chapter. She was featured on the cover of a 1984 National Multiple Sclerosis magazine along with a feature article on living and dealing with MS. She was an avid country music fan and singer and had her own Saturday radio program on WHBY in Appleton, Wisconsin.
She is survived by husband of 35 years, Tom; brothers Charles Fritsch (Dolores) of Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin and a brother Dennis Fritsch (Laura) of Oak Dale, Wisconsin.
Sisters Caroline Lemke (Marvin) of Appleton, Wisconsin, Colleen Zak(Steve) of Appleton, Wisconsin, Bernadette Schultz(Bill) of Neenah, Wisconsin and Clarice Vanderheiden (Neil) of Menasha, Wisconsin.
