Chris A. Lopez, 46, of Waco, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013. A Rosary Service will be 7 p.m. Monday, June 24, at OakCrest Funeral Home, followed by visitation with the family.
Chris was born May 30, 1967 in Waco to Alex and Mary Olivia (Fuentes) Lopez. He was a dedicated father, wonderful son, loving brother, and faithful friend to all that knew him. For nearly 10 years he worked for Waco Housing Authority where he took an early retirement due to illness.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary O. Lopez; and sister, Sandra Lopez.
He is survived by his daughter, Kristen Lopez and son, Brandon; father, Alex Lopez; sister, Sheryl; aunt, Delia Lopez; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives who will miss Chris dearly.
The family expresses sincere thanks for the care provided by from Hillcrest Hospital, Scott & White Hospital, the staff of Waco Housing Authority, and Jim Moshinskie of OakCrest Funeral Home
