October 4, 1985 to June 3, 2007

Christian Ilie Marton, 21, of Axtell, the pride and joy of his family, went to his Lord on Sunday, June 3, 2007 in Dallas, way before his time.

A celebration of his life will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 7, at the OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque, with Pete Huh officiating. Burial will follow in the Axtell Cemetery.

Visitation with his beloved family will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at the OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque, with a brief prayer service at 7 p.m. A memorial video honoring his life will be shared during the visitation.

Christian was born on October 4, 1985 in Mart to Ilie and Mariana Crisan-Iovan Marton, and lived in this area all his life. He graduated from Axtell High School Class of 2004, and enjoyed farming with his father. He loved working with cars in his spare time.

He was a loving son and brother, who will always be fondly remembered as a kind, good-hearted, and friendly person.

He was gentle and easy to get along with, and was the family comedian always bringing laughter into our lives. He really loved and protected his two sisters and enjoyed playing the role of "big brother."

He will always be in our hearts with great love, we will never forget him, and one day we will be with him in heaven.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Traian Crisan-Iovan; cousin, Claudiu Gorgan; and aunt, Tina Dorosan.

He leaves behind his parents, Ilie and Mariana Marton of Axtell; sisters, Melanie and Lisa Marton of Axtell; paternal grandparents, Maria Marton and Samoel Marton; maternal grandmother, Maria Crisan-Iovan; eight aunts; five uncles; and many cousins and friends.

His cousins will serve as pallbearers.
