Christiana Mendoza

Christiana “Christine” Nevarez Mendoza passed away peacefully on December 9, 2022.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at OakCrest Funeral Home chapel with rosary at 7 P.M.

Funeral service will be 10 A.M., Friday, December 16, 2022 at OakCrest Funeral Home with internment to follow at Waco Memorial Park

She would light a room up with her presence and loved to make you laugh, and she would dance any chance she got or “sweep the floor” as she would say. Christine loved to play loteria and make puzzles. She enjoyed life. Christine’s favorite saying was, “Free stuff is good stuff”. She had a loving sense of humor and it will be deeply missed.

Christine is preceded in death by her parents, Candido and Caritina Gonzales; and first grandson, Robert Louis Nevarez.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond Mendoza Jr.; daughters, Teresa Nevarez and husband, Daniel Nino, and Anna Torres; sisters, Justina, Selma, Mary Lou, Rita, Margarita “Margie”, and Guadalupe “Lupe”; brothers, Jerry, Candido Jr., and Esteban “Stevie”; step-children, Rose Marie Mendoza, Staphanie Mendoza Renteria and husband, Arturo, and Raymond Mendoza III; grandchildren, Nickolas Rodriguez, Patricia Nevarez (Fav.), Patrick Nevarez Jr., Aurelius Torres, Jacob Nino, Summer Nino and many other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
