Christina Tobias

Christina Angela Tobias, age 41, formerly of Marlin, Texas passed away peacefully on Friday, February 9, 2024.

Christina Angela Tobias was born April 8, 1982, to Sylvia Martinez and Michael Dell Tobias in Waco, Texas. Christina grew up and attended schools in Marlin. She graduated with the class of 2000. Christina moved to Waco in her younger years where she worked as a CNA and then later attended schools at MCC and Temple Jr College to receive her certificate as Certified Medical Assistant. Christina worked for many various companies in Waco but found her home at Baylor Scott & White Medical. She worked for them for the past 5 years. Christina was a very caring person and loved caring for others. She was a loving mother, sister, and tia. She enjoyed being with her family and was always the light of the party. When Christina walked into a room, you automatically knew you were going to have a good time. She always had her family and friends laughing and smiling. She loved her late-night barbeque sessions and being in her yard planting and gardening. She loved snuggling with daughters, Navaya & Samoni and loved bragging on all their accomplishments.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sylvia Tobias; son, Jayden Tobias; grandparents, Eulalia & Lupe Martinez and Helen & Aubrey Eugene Tobias; nephew, A'marion Martinez Simpson; along with several aunts and uncles.

Christina is survived by her daughters, Navaya Walker & Samoni Tobias of Waco; father, Mike Tobias of Waco; sisters, Salina Martinez and Lorie Tobias of Waco; nieces and nephews, Alexis, Andres, Isaac, Amia, An’Tonio, Serenity, Kaleeya, Mason and A’mariona all of Waco; great nephews, Kyrin & Kaycn of Waco; cousins, Marcus Downes of Marlin, Robert Martinez, Abraham Martinez of Waco, and Anabel Perez of Billing, MT; and uncles, Isaac (Diana) Martinez & Robert (Maribel) Martinez of Waco.
