Chris Sewell, age 31, of Waco passed away as the result of a motorcycle accident on Saturday, May 1, 2010 in Waco.

A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 6, 2010 at the OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chris Sammons officiating. A memorial video of Chris's life will be shown.

Even though his years were few on this earth, he was loved by many. Chris served his country in the National Guard and was currently employed at Robinson Quick Lube.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ginger Hopkins.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Lana Sewell. Her love for him is best described in I Corinthians 13:7, and he was the love of her life. He is also survived by his son, Clayton Douglas Sewell, age nine, and his daughter, Courtney Dawn Sewell, age six; brother, Chase Hopkins, to whom Chris was his Superman, and an older brother, David Sewell; and his grandmother, Nevis James, of New Mexico.
