Cindy Gray

Cindy Carson Gray, 52, of Waco, passed away July 30, 2011. Visitation with her family will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Cindy was born in Raymondville, Tex., on July 7, 1959 and lived in Waco most of her life. Cindy graduated from Richfield High School in 1977 and received her nursing degree from McLennan Community College in 1980.

She spent several years volunteering for Hillcrest auxiliary. She was an active member in the Heart of Texas Rodeo Association.

Cindy will be remembered for her love of family, friends, and animals. She had a wonderful smile and contagious laughter.

Cindy is survived by her parents, Robert and Aleene Carson; sister, Connie Carson Osterman of Edmond, Okla.; brother, Robert Clay Carson of Las Vegas, Nev.; two nephews, Trey Osterman and Derek Osterman of Edmond, Okla.; aunts, Leila Wolfe and Judy Gathings; uncle, Ancel Stafford; and numerous cousins both in Texas and Iowa.
