Cynthia Anne Schwaiger Headlee of Waco, TX passed away at the age of 61 on April 6, 2024. After declining in health, she passed away on a fishing vacation with her husband in Galveston, TX.
Cindy was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on July 11, 1962 to Anne and Max Schwaiger. Cindy graduated from Upper St. Clair High School in 1980 and attended Duquesne University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy in 1985. Upon graduation, she embarked on a career in pharmacy management and recruiting. Cindy touched countless lives in her career and mentored many people who are successful in their own pharmacy careers today.
In September of 1991 and October of 1992, Cindy married the love of her life and best friend, David. They were married for 32 years and were inseparable.
Cindy is survived by her husband, David; daughters, Mackenzie and Kirsten; son-in-law, Jesus; grandchildren, Job David and Joanna; older sister, Tina; and nieces, Heather and Tara.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Anne and her older brother, John.
Cindy loved Galveston, TX and anywhere else with sand, sun and sea. She, her husband, and her children took many wonderful trips including Cozumel, Las Vegas, Estes Park, the Grand Canyon, the Outer Banks, Vancouver, Lake Tahoe, Bar Harbor and many more. Along with traveling, Cindy loved to fish, cook, bake pies, watch her Pittsburgh Steelers, Oklahoma State Cowboys and spend time with her family. Cindy was an awesome and loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend and Mimi. Family was always at the core of everything she did.
While flowers are appreciated, Cindy would prefer donations to be made to St. Louis Catholic Church in Waco, TX for a tree to be planted in her memory.
