Clara Clark

Clara M. Clark, 82, of Robinson, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016. Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, May 15, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Boulevard.

Visitation will be 2:30 p.m. – 3 p.m. prior to the service.

Clara was born June 19, 1933 in Waco to Walter and Pearl Grusendorf. After graduating from Waco High School in 1950, she was a bookkeeper for several businesses. Afterwards she served as church secretary for the First Baptist Church in Robinson until her retirement. She married Clifton Clark, Jr. in 1958. She loved her family dearly, and especially enjoyed being Nannie to her grandchildren.

Clara was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband.

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Freeman and her husband, Wayne, of Axtell; and a son, David Clark and Vicki of Henderson; grandchildren, Jennifer Garner and husband, Dustin, Christopher Freeman and wife, Ashley, Patrick Freeman, Cassandra Allison and husband, Aaron, and Joshua Clark; great-grandchildren, Braylee Garner, Hazel Freeman, and Luke Allison; and a sister, Glenda Hammons.

The family appreciate the care given to our mother by the nurses and aides with Wesley Woods and Providence Hospice.
