Bibliography
Clarence was born in Los Angeles, and he served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years before retiring as a Master Sergeant in 1974.

Afterwards, Clarence moved to Waco and was Maintenance Supervisor for the Waco VA Hospital for 20 years.

Ed touched the lives of so many, he was a wonderful husband, a loving father and we are all richer for having had him in our lives.

His family particularly loved to just watch him play with his young grandchildren and so admired the guidance he often provided as they grew older.

In addition, he loved animals and while he and Sharon always had special pets, they were often called upon to take in "just one more" stray or abandoned soul for which the burden of care always fell to him.

One of Ed's true "passions" was building and flying miniature airplanes. He would spend hours in his workshop crafting the most beautiful planes, always paying attention to the smallest details. When complete he would revel in the wonder of watching them fly through the air. In his leisure, he also enjoyed working outside. He created a beautiful backyard oasis that is often enjoyed by his family, that we can only pray we are able to care for as well as he always did.

Besides all of this, he truly enjoyed to bowl. Some of his children talked him into joining a league with them back in the late 80's and while many of them have left the sport, he never did.

At the time of his passing he was an active participant in two leagues simultaneously and loved every minute of it.

He was a member of the Heart of Texas Miniature Aircraft Club (HOTMAC) for over 25 years, serving as Board Member for the last 2 years. He was also a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics and the United States Bowling Congress.
