Claudio Arechiga

Claudio Aric Arechiga, 30 years old, gained his wings Friday, August 18, 2023 at Providence Hospital in Waco, TX.

Visitation will be held at Maranatha Church, 1000 Ashleman St, Waco, TX 76705 on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 6pm-8pm. Funeral service will at Maranatha Church on Friday, September 1, 2023 at 11am. He will be interred at Oakwood Cemetery following the service.

Pallbearers are Benito Arechiga Jr, Antonio Arechiga, Adrian Andrade, Benito Andrade, Robert Arechiga, Cleto Marquez, Steven Miramontez, and Daniel Arevalo.

Honorary pallbearers are Benito Arechiga Sr, Claudio Aric Arechiga Jr, Augustine Martinez, Arthur Contreras, Andrew Arias, David Nava, Victorious Davis, and Trey Davis.

Aric was born on July 24, 1993 to Benito and Dorinia Arechiga. He was a barber by trade and that is how he got his name A1 Aric, which many know him by to this day. He was a devoted father to his two children and a wonderful husband. Aric loved being a part of his car club, playing pool, shooting dice and spending time with his family. Aric was always ready to help others out and made everyone around him laugh. Anyone who knew Aric knew he always had a smile on his face no matter what he was going through, he was one of a kind and had a heart of gold.

Aric was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Daniel and Catherine Arechiga; uncle, Daniel Frank Arechiga; cousin, Herlinda Arias; and unborn baby.

He is survived by his wife, Marisol Arechiga; his son, Claudio Aric Arechiga Jr; daughter, Zulyanna Arechiga; his parents, Benito Perfecto Arechiga and Dorinia Arechiga; his brothers, Benito Arechiga, Jr. and wife, Marissa, and Antonio Arechiga and wife, Yasmin; sisters, Kamri Arechiga and Atissierra Arechiga; grandma, Lupe; many nieces; nephews; aunt; uncles; cousins; and so many friends.

The family greatly appreciates his aunt and uncle Ben and Cathy Andrade for their love and care during his life.
