Clora Hudson Kellum, 92, of Crawford, passed away Saturday, November 3,2012.
Services will be 10 am Thursday, Nov 8, 2012 at OakCrest Funeral Home with
Rev. Jerry Smith officiating Burial will follow at Gholson Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Wednesday.
Mrs. Kellum was born in Waco to Jesse Lee Hudson and Ruth Gertude
Weathersbee Hudson. She married Mervyn J. Kellum Sr. May 12, 1947. Clora was
a bookkeeper for the William Cameron Lumber Company and Grapette Bottling.
She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, Elizabeth Gordon
Bradley Chapter, United States Daughters of 1812, Jordon Bass Chapter 365, Heart
of Texas regents Council, United Daughters of the Confederacy -
Waco Chapter 2381.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Myrtle Meador,
Helen Weathersbee and brother, Jess R. Hudson.
She is survived by two daughters, Aleda Johnson and husband, Charlie,
Mauneece Payne and husband, Roye Ray; son Mervyn J. Kellum Jr. and wife,
Janet; grandchildren, Lee, Janette, Joseph, Scott, Melanie, Ty, Clay, Ed and Vince;
great grandchildren, Jacob, Henry, John, Katherine, Dylan, Kayden and Sophie.
