Clyde D. Foster

Clyde Daymon Foster, 94, passed away on March 4, 2025 in Clifton, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at the Central Texas Veteran’s Cemetery in Killeen, Texas.

Clyde was born in Wilkes County, North Carolina (township of Lewis Fork) on November 27, 1930 to Venver Damon Foster and Novella Eller, who were affectionately called Mom & Pop.

Clyde joined the US Air Force and when he got out of that branch of the service, he immediately joined the US Army. Clyde retired from US Army after 30 years of service.

He is survived by two sisters, Kate Eller and Judy Parsons; two sons, Perry Daymon Foster and Eric Venver Foster; three daughters, Roseanna Vogt, Sheila Hunt, and Lesa Triplette; grandchildren, Brandee, Maria, Sarah, Becky, Teresa, Virginia, and Eric; as well as many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He is also survived by his wife, Sandra and 3 stepchildren, Coy York and wife Tracy, Craig Shelton, and Marcella Shelton Chavez and husband Mark.
