Conchita Dixon

Conchita Candia Dixon, 66, of Waco, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2003, at her home.

Services and burial will be Thursday at Forest Lawn Sunnyside Mortuary and Cemetery in Long Beach, Cal. Time will be announced later.

Visitation with the familyin Waco will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at OakCrest Funeral Home, followed by a Vigil Service with Father Melvin Dornak of St. Louis Catholic Church officiating.

Conchita was born July 3, 1937 in the Phillipines. She was married January 7, 1973, in Long Beach to Clemmie Lee Dixon. He preceded her in death on April 13, 1974. Conchita has lived in Waco for the past 10 years, and was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church.

A sweet and loving person, Conchita always cared about other people, especially kids. She was a great lady, friend, and companion. She had a wonderful green thumb and enjoyed gardening and all types of flowers.

She is survived by her niece, Josie Robledo, and her husband, Juan, of Waco.
