Craig Hardin

Craig Hardin 67, passed away Thursday October 1st in Waco Texas.

Craig was a veteran and loved music and painting. He had a brilliant mind and could answer almost every Jeopardy question ever asked. He was strong in faith and a believer to the end. His family takes comfort in knowing that his worldly struggles are now done.

Craig struggled with mental illness for a large part of his adult life. He resided in a group home for Veterans for the last 20 years. Our heartfelt thanks go out to Donna, his group home mom. She took great care of Craig and they formed a strong bond. We are also thankful for Christi his social worker. She was an advocate for Craig and made sure he was treated well. Craig nor his family could have made it without these beautiful souls to protect and provide for Craig.

Craig was preceded in death by his mother and father, Oscar and Betty Hardin and niece, Lisa Vengroff.

He is survived by his siblings, Chris Nelms, Cindy Vengroff (Richard), and Cary Hardin (Karen). Nieces and nephews, Babacar Ndao, Darren Vengroff (Hillary), Stephen Nelms (Brittany), Mindy Luna (Julio), Marriah Vengroff (Chris Butts), Chance Hardin and 9 great nieces and nephews.
