Crespin Rico Rodriquez

Crespin Rico Rodriquez, 55, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, March 31, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd., Waco, Texas 76710. Family and friends will gather at 9:45 a.m., Thursday, April 1, at OakCrest Funeral Home for a final viewing, followed by a procession together to Oakwood Cemetery for a graveside service with Darrell Price and Deacon Jesse Garza officiating. Facial covering will be optional.

Crespin was born April 1, 1965 in Waco, TX to Crespin C. Rodriquez and Frances Rico Rodriquez of Waco. He graduated from Richfield High School and went on to earn a degree in laser electro optics from TSTI. After graduating he worked for Samsung in the laser optics department until 9/11. At the time of his passing he worked for Amazon.

He loved music and trips to Casinos. Crespin was known for his happy spirit, friendly smile, and love of pulling pranks.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jesse and Lupe Rodriquez of Waco; and maternal grandparents, Martin and Evelyn Rico of Bainbridge Island, Washington.

Crespin is survived by his parents, Crespin C. Rodriquez of Waco; mother, Frances F. White and husband, Lou; sisters, Lisa Gonzales and husband, Nick, and Linda McPherson and husband, Donnie; brother, Steve Rodriquez and wife, Christy, all of Waco; stepdaughter, Jasmin Centeno of San Antonio; grandkids, Brianna and Christian; aunts and uncle, Gloria Sorrell, Richard Rico, and Eleana Peterson, all of Washington State; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jose Gonzales, Bryan Vargas, Jesse Rodriquez, Bobby Centeno, and Ernest Galindo Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be Steve Rodriquez.
