Cristina Garcia
Cristina (Christina) Q. Garcia 90, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am Friday, December 30, 2016 at St. Francis on the Brazos Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, December, 29, at OakCrest Funeral Home.
Ms. Garcia was born in De Leon, Mexico, on February 26, 1926. She was very proud of working and retiring from Baylor University. She became a citizen of the United States on November 3, 1995. Ms. Garcia was a very hard working lady, and a good friend to all she came in contact with.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
She is survived by her dear friends, Lisa Torres , whom she thought of as a daughter, Raquel Vega and Irene Rivera.
