Dana Nell Berger, 59, of Waco died Monday, March 3, 2003 at a local hospital. Services will be 12:00 pm Thursday in the Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum. Burial will be in the Waco Memorial Park. There will be no visitation. Services are under the direction of OakCrest Funeral Home at 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Dana was born on September 15, 1943 in Waco to Dan and Helen (Kimbrough) Merritt.
She is survived by her daughters, Dana Helene Carmody and husband Paul of Waco, Carla Pileggi and husband David of Austin and Lesley Berger of Oregon; grandchildren, Dana Lea and Dylan Thomas Carmody of Waco and Mia Pileggi of Austin; her mother, Helen Kimbrough of Waco; sisters, Ruth Simons and Margaret Monsey both of Waco; brothers, Osburn Merritt of Waco and Jerry Merritt of Houston.
She was preceded in death by her husband Tommie Berger; father, Dan Merritt and twin brother Dan L. Merritt.
