Darla Steele
Darla Johnson Steele, age 37, passed away March 20, 2010 at her home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 27, at the OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Roger Huff officiating.
She was born January 4, 1973 in Waco to Seabe and Glenda (Frix) Johnson. Darla loved to bowl, talk on the phone and enjoyed going to family reunions. She received her certification in Criminal Justice and worked as a correctional officer.
Darla is preceded in death by her father, Seabe Johnson, grandparents Seabe W. and Hulda Mae Johnson, and cousins, Connie Kimmons and John Bigham.
She is survived by her sons, Christopher Huffman and Mitchell Casey Johnson; daughter, Amber Dawn Marie Kasparian; and mother, Glenda Johnson all of Palestine, Texas; brothers, Stephen Crouse, Dennis Crouse, Calvin Johnson, Danny Johnson and Seabe A. Johnson; grandmother, Betsy Frix; grandfather, Forrest Frix; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She will be greatly missed.
