David Reyna Becerra, 72, of Waco, passed away Saturday, July 11, in a local hospital.
Graveside services with military honors will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at Old Perry Cemetery near Moody, Texas. Rev. Ronnie Holmes will officiate.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
David was born April 10, 1937 in Moody to the late Joe Becerra and Maria Reyna. He served in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and four brothers.
He is survived by his son, Joseph Lee Becerra and wife, Ginger; daughter, Marlana Nicole Salinas and husband, Chris; 5 grandsons; a granddaughter; brother, Roman Becerra of Waco; 5 sisters, Emilia Gonzales, Noemi Ruiz, Eloisa Ochoa, Blanca Salas, all of Waco, and Ruth Sustaita of Gilroy, Cal., and long time friend, Linda T. Fraga of Dallas, and many nieces and nephews who lived him dearly.
