David Lee Holden, 37, of Llano, Texas entered into Heaven on Friday, July13, 2018.

David was born in Waco, Texas on October 25, 1980 to Gary Lee and Judith Marie Surita. He attended Waco schools, and graduated from University High School. From an early age he started learning music from his maternal grandfather Roy Surita, becoming an accomplished guitar player. Some of the bands that David played in are; Niche, Project 420, Ojo, One Red Second, and Veritas, to name a few, until he formed his own personal band DIVAD NEDLOH and the CONSEQUENCES. In addition to David’s music, he worked in several local restaurants, among them were; Applebee’s Chiles, and La Fiesta, always charming the customers as well as the employees, and then pit master with the Texas famous Cooper’s Barbeque, Llano, Texas serving some of the most delicious meats, done to perfection. He was truly a people person, never meeting a stranger.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; an infant daughter Lydia Ann; and uncles, Rudolph Surita and Nick Holden, Jr.

He is survived by his loving parents, Judith Marie Surita of Waco, Texas and Gary Lee Holden of Llano, Texas, daughters; Mya and Chariti; and son; Corbyn; brother, Stephen Holden and wife Coral Gonzalez, nephews; Stephen, Jr. and Emiliano Holden; paternal grandparents, Nick and Anne Holden; girlfriend, Atlanta Martinez; Aunts; Evelyn Surita, Georgia O’Neil, Teresa Graves and husband Ted, Natibidad (Nati) Surita and Colleen Holden; uncles, Perry Surita, Danny Holden and Greg Holden.
