David Lasley

David N. Lasley, 64 of Waco passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at a Temple hospital.

Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Curtis Holland to officiate.

Viewing will be noon to 7:00 pm Monday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.


David was born October 26, 1945 in San Diego, CA to Norman and Rosel (Bowen) Lasley. He was a member of the Waco High School Class of 1964.

David served in the United States Air Force and was a musician. At Waco High School, he was a member of The Tradewinds, WHS's most popular singing group, with Gary Moore and Mike Cooper.

David is survived by:his brother, Paul J. Lasley and wife, Linda; niece, Amy Fancher; nephew, Jonathan Lasley; and a host of cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be Mickey Williams, Jonathan Lasley, Gary Moore, Bob Sherman, Jimmy Bowen and Johnny Tadlock.
