David Earl Luedke, 56, of Elm Mott, passed away Friday, July 31, 2009 at a local hospital. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd. with Pastor Joel Boesche, officiating, followed by burial at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery in Corsicana. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
David was born December 19, 1952 in Bryan to Alvin and Joyce (Franks) Luedke, and he married Nina Green, December 15, 2001 in Bellmead. David was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He worked as a police officer in College Station and for the McLennan County Sheriffs Department for a combined 14 years. David was the owner of the local branch of the American Credit Card Processing Corporation.
David was preceded in death by his father.
David is survived by his wife Nina Ann Luedke of Elm Mott; daughters, Debra Stutts, and Dana Luedke; granddaughters, Chole and Haley Stutts; mother, Joyce Luedke; brother, Darrell Luedke and wife, Nancy; stepson, Nathan Diss; and nephews, Adam and Brian Luedke.
