David Quintanilla

David G. "D.Q." Quintanilla, Jr., age 34, a beloved husband, son, father, brother and friend, passed away August 1, 2009 in Waco. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, August 6, 2009 at St. Francis Catholic Church with burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery. A rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at the OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel.

David was born March 7, 1975 in Houston, Texas to David G. and Virginia (Guerra) Quintanilla, Sr. He is preceded in death by his father, grandfather, two uncles and his father in law.

David is survived by his wife, Regina Quintanilla of Grand Prairie; mother, Virginia Quintanilla of Waco; children, Andrea Quintanilla, David G. Quintanilla, III, Armando Quintanilla all of Grand Prairie, David Daniel Quintanilla of Waco; grandparents, Dan and Josephine Quintanilla of Houston; grandmother, Lucy Guerra of Waco; sister, Deanna Pena and husband Rim of Garland; brothers, Anthony Quintanilla and wife, Stella, Emmitt Herrera III, Emmitt Herrera IV and T.J. Herrera all of Waco.
