David Sanchez

David Sanchez Jr., 42, passed away Wednesday, May 04, 2022 in Waco, Texas.

A private family service will be held Friday, May 13, 2022 at Oakcrest Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

David was born on September 11, 1979 to David and Rose Sanchez in Waco, Texas where he lived most of his life. He was a vibrant soul that always had a beautiful smile and hug to give. He loved his family, laughing, music, and would say "put on some Skynard Free Bird" if he wasn't listening to 2Pac or DMX.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Regalado Sanchez; grandmother, Maria V Sanchez; grandfather, Sylvester Sanchez; grandmother, Irene Regalado; grandfather, Cresencio Regalado; aunt, Rachael Vargas; and uncles, Raymond Sanchez, Johnny Sanchez, and Rumaldo Regalado.

David is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Ortiz; father, David Sanchez, Sr.; four children, David Sanchez III, Devin Sanchez, Elizabeth Sanchez, and Dominic Sanchez; siblings, Jennifer Dawson, Jose Sanchez, Richard Sanchez, Misti Rodriguez, Linda Najera, and Mary Ann Sanchez; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
